Sex addiction is not like this. When a person is addicted to drugs or alcohol then the answer is abstinence. Avoiding any drugs or alcohol at all. The goal of Sex Addiction healing is not abstinence…the goal is to be healthy and be able to enjoy a fulfilling normal sexual life with one’s partner. Sex addiction is better compared to food-addiction or overeating. The goal of a healthy diet is not to abstain from eating. It is to learn to eat in a healthy and moderate way that doesn’t destroy your body and allows you to enjoy the rest of your life. | |
