Prairie Archives is located at 522 E Adams St Springfield 62701, US Prairie Archives Located in the heart of historic downtown Springfield, Prairie Archives has been serving Central Illinois since 1973. We have occupied three locations since our founding and our current store has been located at 522 E. Adams since 1992. We have approximately 250,000 books in stock, documents, manuscript material, posters, prints, comics, collectibles, magazines, political buttons, postcards and lots more. If you don’t see a title you’re looking for, please feel free to inquire; only a small part of our stock is catalogued. Our email address is books@prairiearchives.com. Our store hours are 10-5 Central time Monday through Saturday. We also carry a line of t-shirts, including the ever-popular “Abraham Lincoln: They’d have to shoot me to get me back to Springfield” and “Frank Lloyd Wright: I can design a building that would look good even in Springfield”.
